Iranian intelligence dismantled a “combat network” linked to Israel’s Mossad, arresting 31 individuals across nine provinces.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps intelligence announced a significant blow against a “combat network belonging to the enemies”, emphasizing successful preventive measures against field operatives and their financial and logistical support structures.

Authorities confirmed the arrest of the main liaison between the “Shahanshahi organization” and the Israeli entity in southern Iran, identifying 31 individuals prepared to collaborate with Mossad, dismantling specialized urban combat cells in nine Iranian provinces.

Iranian authorities reported receiving approximately 400,000 citizen complaints, many proving crucial for locating and capturing subversive elements and reiterated their unwavering commitment to neutralizing any destabilization attempts by this hostile network.

General Abdol-Rahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, stated that the “enemy, according to a meticulous plan, introduced trained terrorist elements in recent days who perpetrated extremely violent acts in various regions.”

Separately, Amos Yadlin, former head of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate, conceded that prevailing Israeli media estimations regarding Iran’s internal situation have been inaccurate, contradicting analyses circulated in recent weeks.

According to Israeli Channel 13, Yadlin affirmed that the Iranian political system is “very strong” and refuted interpretations recently promoted by Persian-speaking commentators in “Israel,” underscoring that such assessments did not reflect the reality on the ground. Yadlin added that the Iranian regime “is very solid and took to the streets,” alluding to its internal control capacity and the staging of massive popular mobilizations in its support.

Iranian authorities maintained that violent elements infiltrated initially peaceful protests, motivated by economic conditions, leading to riots and deliberate killings.

In this context, the Iranian government considers U.S. President Donald Trump’s calls to be incitement to violence, not support for peaceful protest. Last Monday, mass rallies were held in various Iranian cities under the slogan “national solidarity and tribute to peace and friendship.” These mobilizations condemned armed violence, rejected external interference, and included slogans against the United States and Israel, reiterating popular support for the Islamic Republic.
